I’m not on the rebound although I still grieve the loss of my home bred 14.5 year old English Setter but I also lost my partner to Cancer at the end of May to which she made me promise that I’d find a new partner and not ‘leave myself on the shelf’ so therefore I did most of me grieving for her before her death .
Obviously I miss her and there will always be a big place in my heat for her but I’m a very strong , resilient character and life moves on .
I’m now fighting hard to get fit and healthy. Sadly I can’t get in the gym yet but I’m swimming several times a week and I swim a minimum of 1 mile each time.
