Being a site for classic FM I’ve a broad taste in music, from Satie & Smetana to Wagner.
I’m a very positive person, but also a recovering cancer patient 2nd time , lots of chemo and stem cell transplant which means I’m immuno suppressed can’t actually meet people until I started my vaccinations which should happen in the near future.
I don’t take life too seriously & usually find the funny side in most things & I’ve a dark sense of humour at times !
Romance,Love,i kindness, compassion & sense of humour are important but I don't think should be thought about too much before meeting.
Whilst looks are important to me , a beautiful mind, heart, temperament, passionate,kindness and great sense of humour are also important in equal measure.i find an intelligent lady very attractive.Hopefully I can offer some of these qualities too! Of course being a soul mate and that 'chemistry' is absolutely vital. You will love the outdoors, walking (which sadly I can’t do at the moment but I’m working on getting fitter so that I can start walking in due course ) but at the same time you’ll enjoy looking after yourself .
I have no problem with a lady taking time with looks and make up and also how large shoe collection or wardrobe is!
You’ll have pastimes that I can take an interest in too. I hope you’d enjoy my cooking and also taste in humour and other passions but I’m aware opposites can attract.
I feel honesty is vital from the outset.
I miss my beautiful my home bred 14.5 year old English Setter dreadfully, that I lost on the day of my partner’s funeral who I lost two years ago at the end of May but she made me promise that I’d find a new partner and not ‘leave myself on the shelf’ so therefore I did most of me grieving for her before her but not my dog’s death .
I’m a very strong , resilient person & life moves on .
I’ll get another dog, but not until I’m well enough to do her justice.
I’m now fighting hard to get fit and healthy.
Can’t get in the gym , walk or swim yet. xx

What is an ideal match? great question as one has to start somewhere.
This internet dating to me will hopefully find some new friends and whom knows where that may lead? Romance,Love,is important but I don't think should be thought about too much before meeting.

Julian and my Mum (who has sadly passed) were the closest of friends. Julian has been like a father to me and has supported me through thick and thin. He is a kind, caring, beautiful person.
