I’m a peaceful person, happy in my own company but also love the warmth and laughter of close friends who, asked what I should write, describe me as very attractive and funny. I like gardening, walking in the country (sometimes with sketch pad and paints), yoga and playing the guitar not terribly well. I like reading, especially British history. I have classical music playing most of the time, need to stop and listen attentively to certain pieces. I dislike noisy environments, loathe smoke. I prefer intimate gatherings to crowds. Love autumn, winter, log fires, kicking up leaves; flower meadows, bird song, wild water and getting caught in the rain

I’m hoping for a man of kindness and warmth, with a fine mind and great sense of humour. I’ve been tall all my life and rarely have met men of similar height so it’s not a deal breaker (although it would be a fabulous change).
