I am a lifelong resident of Aveley, Essex. Approachable, sociable, friendly - said to be a good friend who tries to be helpful - and a gentleman who does not drive but makes good use of Public Transport & 'Shank's Pony'.

LIKES: Holidays in the U.K. mainly B & B in Torbay area of Devon (visiting Cornwall) and near Europe (my passport expired during the pandemic and am considering renewing same for the next 'Dordt in Stoom' event in Dordrecht, The Netherlands 29/05/2026 – 31/05/2026), the truth and reliability.
DISLIKES: ignorance (in particular the gross misuse of punctuation and quotation marks in profiles and messages), rudeness and unreliability.
Has been an Amateur Photographer (both scenic & transport subjects) since 1963, Transport Enthusiast, likes furry pets, gardening and Railway Modelling.
