Warm, caring & friendly with a very good sense of humour - I've been divorced for many years but haven't given up hope of finding a 'normal, honest & genuine' man. Friendship, thoughtfulness and respect are very important in any relationship.
I would like to meet someone who take's a pride in their appearance and personal hygiene (I've met some people on here who seem to have forgotten how to shower!). Someone caring, kind, thoughtful but has a positive outlook and a zest for life.

I’m a homely person and my small family are very important to me & I enjoy being with them. I would have loved a large family, but it didn't work out that way.
My favourite holiday would be a cruise but I'd be open to trying different types. I have only lived in Rochdale for 7 years (living in Stockport for a long period of time before moving over here)
I still work full time but only have less than a year before I can retire, therefore someone more local would be great but if you don’t mind driving to Rochdale, then I’m game!

I'm looking for a man who's a 'gentleman' with good manners, clean, hard-working (but not obsessively) and someone with a very good sense of humour.
I'm the sort of person that will take my glass back to the bar or stack up my empty plate after a restaurant meal, make the bed when I'm in a hotel... I know it's a bit strange but I appreciate how hard these people work, for not much reward, so help where I can - not a pre-requisite but, it would be nice to meet someone whose as thoughtful.
It's lovely being together, but we don't need to be in each other's pockets, keeping our own interest, as well as combining social / hobbies.
I love dinner parties & BBQ's, but they're not the same on your own! I love laughing & can have a serious conversation but also try to find humour in most things. I find arrogance, conceitedness & narcissistic traits a complete turn-off as well as confrontations & bullying behaviour - Someone who demands a lot of attention and reassurance is also a no-no for me. Life's too short so make the most of it and make as many happy memories as possible...
