I think I am open-minded but I do have strong views on certain subjects, especially protecting our environment and wildlife.
My musical tastes are eclectic although they tend towards the classical.
I am fairly easy going and get on with most people - with the proviso that I don't suffer fools easily!
My hobbies include photography, painting (mainly abstract art), reading, walking and leisure cycling (not the hard stuff).
I have an innate curiosity about pretty well everything and a particular interest in science and medicine.
All this is coupled with a strong sense of humour and sense of the ridiculous!
My family tell me that I look and act younger than my actual age - I'm not sure whether that's a positive or negative trait!

I am seeking someone also with an open outlook on life who I can converse with openly and candidly, share a joke, and share and enjoy experiences with - like concerts, plays, films, talks etc - and the occasional meal out.
This is something that I have missed out on over the last few years and, at my stage of life, this kind of relationship has become more important to my wellbeing and, hopefully, will be to someone else's.
To be honest I am looking for friendship and companionship initially. As for romance? As always, that's in the lap of the gods!
