About her
This is the difficult bit! I recently took early retirement and am now looking forward to having more time to do the things I enjoy. I am a cheerful and optimistic person with a good sense of humour. I’m happy in my own company and meeting up with my friends, but hoping to find some new hobbies and interests, and it would be great to share these with a like-minded person.
In my spare time I love to read, go for walks, especially by the sea, and to work in my small garden, which is always a work in progress!
When I travel, I like to walk, see the sights and visit places of interest, rather than sit on the beach. I love classical music, ballet, art galleries, museums, wildlife, the countryside and the sea. I am very interested in local and social history and am fascinated by the past.
I don't take part in any sports activities, and am not a keen spectator!
I am not someone who rushes into relationships, believing that building a friendship first is important. If something deeper should develop over time, that could be a bonus.
