Having been widowed five years ago, I miss female companionship. I am practical (work with wood and metal) and also a musician. I live in the heart of the countryside and enjoy the peacefulness. Friends would say that I am quiet, considerate and true to my word.
I'm interested in all sorts of things; music, architecture, driving (especially my classic Landrover), industrial archeology, etc. I also enjoy a good pub and am a keen real ale drinker, though in moderation!
I have a great interest in steam preservation (hence the traction engine) and find the social history of the times fascinating.
My involvement with, and love of music, is also a very important part of my life. I'm a semi professional organist.
