Likes? I like being active but I am always reading. Mostly biography and history: I seem to have lost my taste for fiction.
Activity? Swim. Yoga. Tennis. Walking. Hiking. Cycling to work (fair weather only). Celidhs.
Not mad about winter, happier between Spring and Autumn. Love listening to people's stories.
Believer in the 15 minute city. Urban but attracted to empty beaches in North Northumberland.
Holidays? Just come back from Madrid and San Sebastian. The former was art galleries and an Almodovar exhibition. The latter was a film festival. Absolutely no sun loungers but a lot of Basque cheesecake (not a euphemism).
Now accept there are things outside my skill set and no longer feel guilty about them, just outsource them.
Try to give thanks always for the blessings of life and avoid existential despondency.

Someone who could both think, and do, would be a good start. Someone who interests me. I am endlessly curious and love to learn.

I'm not looking to meet lots of people. Just one.
If relevant, I split my time between the North East and London. Someone who lived in London but liked the North East/Scotland would be great, or the other way round. Probably rules out the West Coast :-)
