Down to earth , intelligent, thoughtful Lancashire lass.I'm usually happy and optimistic and like to smile a lot! I find that if you smile at people, it can quite often change things for the better. I'm kind and considerate and like to surprise my friends and loved ones with those little kindnesses that are so often missing in our hectic lives these days. I'm a capable cook , and even though I love to go off in my campervan, I also love my very "homely" home, wherever that may be.I'm very much a country woman and some of my greatest pleasures come from Nature, wildlife and animals. I'm energetic and enthusiastic and usually have some project on the go, or plans in the pipeline . I love to go off in my campervan and if I can be near the mountains and the sea and go swimming , that's the icing on the cake. I also enjoy visiting stately homes, gardens etc.and am a member of the National Trust, although these visits are sometimes restricted as I usually have my dog with me.
Impossible to sum up 68 years in a short description but it's been, and still is, an interesting life! I still work but, being self employed, am fairly flexible and mainly now work from home.
I love walking, my dog and cat, my campervan, yoga, singing, swimming, music, dancing, cycling, reading , gardening, wild places(especially Scotland), Greek Islands and lots more, including my family and some very dear friends, who I love to bits.
