I'm supposed to be retired, but people still want me to work for them, and after 30 years as a self employed scientist I don't really know how to say no ! So I guess I'm still in demand, although it would be nice sometimes to be able to say no...
I'm fascinated by the environment and history, love walking in the countryside, visiting nature reserves and historic sites.
I collect random things, books, antiques and pictures, anything and everything really, whatever takes my fancy...
I still very much enjoy life, my family are wonderful but I really don't see enough of them. I live alone and I would love to get out more with a companion, although I am very much involved in village life and societies. I also volunteer for local environmental and history things.
