I’m told I’m bubbly, optimistic, semi-professional who has a fair level of intelligence with the occasional ‘dippy’ tendency but more than capable of holding a decent conversation about lots of stuff.
I enjoy the outdoors, love motorsport, rugby and confess to having a thing about planes, motorcars and oh…tanks!
You’ll find I’m not afraid of braving the elements so I’m equally as happy to don my wellies and waterproofs as I am to be getting dressed up for that special occasion - whatever the reason, you’ll find I’ll embrace it.
Apparently, I have a wicked sense of humour and when it counts, don’t take myself too seriously.
I have 3 grown-up children who although are a big part of my life and still at home (I love that), are all partnered and have their own lives. If I’m honest, they’re the reason I’ve appeared here, they’re of the opinion my time is fast running out (charming) and I need to seek someone to enjoy / share my life with - so here I am!
Average in appearance but take pride in how I look and believe I do enough to remain in shape-ish.
I’m not entirely sure what kind of involvement I’m in search for, but it would be great to find someone to share these rambling paths of life with - whatever the weather or terrain.
A bit about me:
Dislikes: lack of manners, constant phone checking! TV ‘on’ just for the sake of it, cricket.
Likes: A good laugh, good conversation, food (not overly fond of fish or seafood - yet), music (variety of genres), being challenged and taken out of my comfort zone.
Enjoys spontaneity and surprises, loves a bit of old-fashioned romance.
Hobbies: A few including walking, walking my dog, photography (amateur), my family and friends. Generally, if I find it interesting, I’ll give it a go!
Aspirations: To learn to play the cello or saxophone. One from my bucket list: See Aurora Borealis.
