I love painting, drawing and creating things aaaand I do not give myself enough time to do it! I love singing, and enjoy “converting” people to karaoke (always feel a sense of excitement in doing so and also aware of the horror it evokes in some people!) In all seriousness, you don't actually know someone until you've seen them sing a heartfelt karaoke song. (I'm not talking a polished performance, I'm talking emotional catharsis with reckless abandon).
I'm politically homeless/still figuring it all out, passionate about social issues - I don't have all the answers, I do what I can as an individual to live responsibly and in terms of engagement on a more societal level, I fluctuate between casual engagement and blissful ignorance.
I love the side of people music festivals seems to bring out: carefree, open, spontaneous, fun-loving, adventurous, and aware of how deeply connected we all are to each other and everything in the world. I always leave feeling a sense of comraderie and optimism about humanity and what we're capable of if we just keep that connection in mind. At a festival, I like: chatting to random people, dancing, dance-walking between places, chilling in peaceful places, sitting round a campfire, dressing up/fancy dress, camping. I like most music genres and always keen to learn about new artists.
Have always been a big fan of the deep and meaningful conversation and I am recently diversifying and starting to enjoy the value and learn the art of small talk. I like cats, do you?
Alongside the whimsy and floatiness I also enjoy dry, deadpan and sarcastic humour, as long as it's in good humour.
Other likes: walks in nature, lie-ins, cuddles, baths, alone time/silence, reading, baking, cycling, meditating, board games, video games (very rarely), quality time with nieces and nephews (and rest of family!), a good film/TV show
