I'll upload more (and hopefully better) photos when I get a chance.
I am easy going and tend to get on with most people.
I love learning new things; whether it be new skills to use in everyday life, or facts and trivia. My favourite topics are history (Roman/Celtic Europe through to the Industrial Revolution), science, medicine, and nature. I speak a little bit of German, I would say I am reasonable with reading, writing, and speaking; I need a lot of practice listening in German.
I like to keep busy and enjoy looking after people which coincides with most of what I have going on in my life. I am a Staff Nurse (adult health) for the NHS, a Cadet Force Adult Volunteer for the Army Cadet Force (working with 12 to 17 year olds), and I am looking to get back with the Scottish Ambulance Service's Community First Responders once I settle down and know what way my life is going (I had to step down from them after a turbulent spell in my life meant I needed to move out of their catchment area early in 2019, so I want to be sure I can commit my time before making any promises to them again).
When I do take time out to relax, I like to go on long walks (preferably in rural or forested areas) as well as playing games on my computer (though even then, I often end up being a healer when playing games with a class system).
I also enjoy skiing, cycling, sailing, kayaking, and horse riding; though I've not managed to do any of these in a fair few years.
My useful life skills are: I can sew, cook, clean, iron, drive (have a car); I can navigate well using stars, the sun, a map, a compass, and flora/landscape; I am first aid and medically trained; I have a basic understanding of botany (which plants are edible, safe, harmful, or deadly); I am good with children and animals; and I've got a technical mind and like doing hands-on crafts/DIY.

I only ever ask for three things: honesty, loyalty, and to be given a chance. I will most likely fall for anyone willing to tick those boxes.
I am basically looking for someone who is open to the idea of a long-term/life-long relationship, but whatever happens happens. I am not fussy with looks or appearance, having someone who I can get along with is more important.
