I'm looking for a companion / friend for concerts and generally cultural life, and if it leads to a relationship, then how lucky!
I had been a London for 20+ yrs but currently based in the East Midlands, yet stay in London a lot since this is where I go to those concerts (mainly classical / baroque, but I like mostly vintage rock/pop too, art exhibitions, etc. I'm looking for someone who also stays regularly or lives in London.
Tall and slim, told I'm quite charming in person - or at any rate, personable!
I'm easy to talk to and like a bit of a discussion but I'm no chatterbox, can be reserved at times but not closed-off and you'll know my opinions, I can also be funny/witty I'm told, maybe a bit quirky for some but equally like that in others.
Other than music I'm interested in art, antiques, go to vintage fairs, some European and UK travel, good food, love a good cosy/rustic Italian with great pasta, but appreciate a bit of fine dining sometimes. Love nature / woodland, coast, but fair weather mostly (no skiing or sailing for me, haha).
I'm a supportive partner , emotionally and practically in some ways, and I do like for this to work both ways.
I do love pets and often look after others' cats and (used to) dogs.

Someone balanced, intelligent and thoughtful, relatively outgoing but not hugely gregarious or loud, nor chaotic! Someone tolerant overall, but not without principles.
Sense of humour important of course - I tend to like the absurd and good 'observation comedy', love PG Wodehouse. Did like The Fast Show.
I don't really have a type visually, though I much prefer clean-shaven, maybe slightly rugged, faces.
I really will not get on with perfectionists (in relationships / daily life, work is different!), would like someone organised but chilled and with a sense of humour.
