About her
I’m a turn up the music and dance around the kitchen kind of girl. I like to discover new recipes and try them out on friends. And I like to cuddle up on the sofa with my rescue dog, Freddie, to watch old movies or favourite dramas on tv. I’m easy going and down to earth with a passion for reading, and keeping up with current events.
Due to caring for family members, I’m currently living in SW England where I enjoy the beautiful scenery, beaches and outdoor lifestyle. I’ve recently started cold-water swimming which is a whole new experience let me tell you! I’m not sure this is my forever home but I’m certainly appreciating the beauty and splendour of living near the coast and this slower pace of life.
I've lived and worked in many cities across the UK. I’ve also lived overseas in a few countries including the United States where I lived for many years. After working in the diplomatic service, I retrained as an English teacher. Giving back is also important to me so I work one day a week as a volunteer counsellor for young people.
I’m energetic and enthusiastic about the future. Hoping to make the most of what life has in store for me.
