About him
I think my friends would say that I am well organised (how little they know about me!!) I feel I am a very passionate, loving and caring person. I am very passionate about the interests I have and love to support people in their endeavours. I feel I am generous and good company to be with as I enjoy a wide variety of things. I have a mixed humour, from at times silly, to witty and enjoy having fun with my friends. I have learn't over many years to enjoy the journey - its all about the journey! I take great pleasure in being with family and friends and experiencing new things. With regards to music, I mainly like 70's, 80,s and 90's music as well as some contemporary and classical and a little opera. I love music that either makes me want to dance or touches me emotionally...or both. I play guitar (badly!! but enjoy practicing and playing with friends) Art, I paint landscapes from photographs I have taken on my travels, and recently sold my first print. Travel, I have been lucky to travel to many European countries the USA, the Caribbean and Thialand. I currently spend time travelling the French rivers and canals on my new Dutch Barge (I do have a UK home) sampling the delights of, the food and drink, scenery and culture. I enjoy bike riding and swimming whilst in France and at home, both for exercise and to get out into the countryside. I love walking and being with my 7 year old Golden Retriever. Spending time with my son and his partner, seeing them grow and develop and supporting them as well as hearing about their endeavours. I'm not a fan of people who make their job/work basically what they are (boring), people are much more than this and I like to get to know the non work part of them. I don't like smoking...I'm sure there are other things I could write...

Someone who is intelligent, kind, caring and passionate about life. They are good company, fun loving and looking for new horizons. They have emotional maturity and resilience and a desire to share their life with me.
I currently spend a few months on my barge travelling through France it would be desirable for them to be able to share that interest/passion and to be able to travel with me either all of that time, or some of it.
Having got a grown up son of my own I would not want my ideal match to have children under the age of 18/19.
