About him
I am recently retired after over 40 years in various roles in education, a career in which I have loved every working day ( well nearly every day!). I am fit and healthy having recently walked The Cotswold Way and before that The Pennine Way. I don't consider myself to be old but there again it would be good to be 20 years younger! I love the theatre, cinema, reading, writing, gardening (I have a large allotment) and most sports. Happiest in the countryside, the hills and the mountains or walking a coastal path, but also love good conversation in a cosy village pub!
I have a good sense of humour, love my children and grand children and volunteering in my community. I am a trustee to two local charities. I am often in the company of many people but miss the company of that one special person, a kindred spirit.

My ideal partner/soul buddy will be understanding, open to new experiences, looking to find a kindred spirit to help co-write the next chapter in her life.
