You get to a certain age and think, where have the years gone? You still feel young, look good, and have the same drive to enjoy life—but maybe with a little more wisdom (and a better taste in wine!). What’s stopping me? Finding the right ‘someone’ to share it with.
I’m not looking for marriage or the so-called ‘love of my life’—I’m not 18 and I’ve lived enough to know what I want and what I won’t settle for. I’m not interested in casual flings or anything sex-led. That’s the last thing on my mind. I’m looking for connection, trust, and someone who makes me feel safe when they put their strong arms around me.
If Prince Charming exists, he’s clearly taken a few wrong turns. And yes, I’ve kissed a few frogs (who hasn’t?). But I still believe in something meaningful—just without the drama, pressure, or endless online small talk. I’m a “let’s meet for a coffee and see where it goes” kind of woman. No games, just genuine conversation.
I do have high standards, and I enjoy quality—whether that’s time, company, or experiences. I’m open to travelling to meet the right person, but if you’re sporting a beard or moustache, I’m afraid it’s not going to work. Just not my thing. Clean-shaven is my preference, always.

I suppose the cliché of tall, dark and handsome appeals to many women—and yes, I’ve been there, tried that. Truth is, perfection comes in many forms. I do tend to prefer taller, well-built men—the kind who make you feel safe when they put an arm around you. That feeling matters more to me than hair colour or chiselled features… though let’s be honest, I wouldn’t exactly say no to a bit of eye candy!
Looks aren’t everything, but there has to be that spark. So if you’ve long since given up on mirrors or think socks and sandals are a fashion statement—we might not be a match.
That said, I’m not a huge fan of beards or moustaches—sorry! Clean-shaven just feels more ‘me’. I’m also someone who knows what she likes… and one of those things is not being mauled to death every five minutes. I appreciate affection, but I’m much more drawn to private moments over public displays.
I’m a vegan, and animal cruelty in any form is a hard no for me. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment, but I really do love animals—and I often find that people who live with pets tend to have a kind and gentle side that’s hard not to admire.

I don’t want to sound cold, but affection comes in many forms, if I feel comfortable with the right person, then it’s natural for me to want to be more tactile with them. That is developed over a period of time in a relationship.
