I’m kind, intelligent and a good friend. I enjoy live comedy, theatre, learning more about the world, spending time with friends, quizzes and board games, and the natural world. I love a day out birdwatching followed by a pub meal, or a visit to a gallery or exhibition. I have eclectic tastes; I'm as at home with Star Trek as Shakespeare, Dawkins as Disney. I graduated with a degree in history from The Open University in 2020. I prefer low-key socialising - if you like high end dining and dressing up to the nines I'm probably not for you. I’m politically left of centre with strong principles. I enjoy travel, including city breaks immersing myself in the history and culture of a new place. Longer trips have become increasingly wildlife-focused; watching otters and eagles on the island of Mull was an absolute joy. My photo is from May 2022.

You need to be a kind person who is interested in others and likes to laugh. Time together would be a priority for you. It would be great if we already had some shared interests (the natural world, history, comedy, bridge …?) and if you introduced me to other hobbies.
