I am a trustworthy, gregarious Capricorn. I like to think my glass is half full, never half empty. I am interested in politics and the meaning of life (not 42) I don't enjoy shopping and so do a lot of mine online. So anyone I was with wouldn't be dragged around countless shops and I promise ,in all my life, I have never said "Does my bum look big in this?" I am trying to learn Portuguese and I spend a lot of time reading. I like driving and can confidently do so in any country.(Although I would draw the line at The Arc de Triomphe and some Asian cities). I have what has been described as an acerbic sense of humour. I find even the idea of TV series like The Kardashians both bizarre and repulsive.

Although I would like to meet up with a Cary Grant lookalike I know this is unrealistic. Someone who, like me, is retired or available for chunks at a time to go travelling. It would be good to find someone who is good at back and neck massages and likes to snuggle.I also need someone I can have an intelligent conversation with. I like driving and it would be nice to share touring other countries with another person. I love the water, be it a lake, a river or the sea, although I didn't learn to swim until I was in my twenties.
I cannot abide liers, for which I have a high detection rate. I also have an aversion to tattoos and face piercings. Having said all that I am surprisingly easy to get along with.
