About her
I grew up in a large family in Northumberland and came to London to go to College and have been a ‘southerner’ ever since.
I enjoyed a busy life as a working mother of 3 .
Retirement and widowhood have brought me to a home on the South Downs. I help out with Grandchildren in London occasionally but feel that my friendship group needs to enlarge! I enjoy life in the country but wish to share time with someone who is witty and warm hearted.
Warning I have 2 Labradors so a patient walking companion would be lovely.

A man who enjoys music, art, laughter, the countryside, lively Labradors and the occasional meal out. Hopefully he will not be adverse to home cooking and is willing to share the crossword.
I have spent many years as a supporter of my children’s sporting activities from the freezing National Water Sports Centre, to school lacrosse and ruby pitches; I have happily made many sandwiches for the competitors and am not ashamed of cheering lustily!
I look forward to finding someone who will, discuss the news, politics, the Booker Prize and then share theatre, film, art galleries, comedy shows and drama! This person doesn’t have to agree with all my views but enjoy lively conversation….. not too serious!
