About her
I’m a languages graduate, with a positive and curious outlook and I’m happiest outdoors: gardening, exploring somewhere new, walking, and in recent times also running (which younger me would never have believed!)
In 2010 I became a widowed parent to a son and daughter, now in their 20s. Whilst this was incredibly hard it has shaped a lot about my present values in a positive way; I’m quite emotionally reflective, patient and grounded. My family means everything to me, and I’ll always go the extra mile for loved-ones and friends. I try to live in the present moment, albeit can ‘overthink’ at times, which I’m working on! I like travel, music, good food, spending time with friends, and helping my community. It would be great to meet someone similarly-wired.

I’d love to meet a soulmate who shares some of my passions and is intellectually and emotionally on a similar wavelength. Whilst a ‘living together’ arrangement is not a particular goal for me I’m not just looking for an ‘activity partner’ - even though in the right circumstances that has merits too. Instead it’s important for me to experience a true connection, laughing at the same things and additionally supporting one another when life chucks lemons our way. I would also like my partner to have a life they share with others aside from just with me.
