About him
I'm Matt, I'm 44 and was born in Chesterfield, I've lived in a few different places like Huddersfield (Yorkshire), Aberdeen, Streatham (London), Chicago, Caudete (Spain) and currently reside in Liverpool. Moving around so much has given me a lot of life experience I am grateful for.
I'm a semi professional musician as in I write and record music, have been paid for gigs but no elusive record deal. I also write poetry and was offered a contributory contract with one publisher but was unable to contribute to the marketing (close but no cigar!), I'm now looking into self publishing with Amazon.
I enjoy the simple things in life like a good cup of coffee, taking a walk, visiting places of interest (Liverpool has many), going for a pint at my local pub, going to the cinema, eating out, reading classic literature and poetry and quiet nights Infront of the TV.
My interests include music, creative writing, sport especially my beloved Everton FC, films and TV, British history and vegetarian food.
I'm looking for someone ideally with similar interests who is honest, loyal, kind and who likes to have fun. Someone who is prepared to allow me to pursue my dreams.

I've known Matt for fifteen years. I first met him when he auditioned me to play drums in his band. I made the grade and off we went, gigging and recording dozens of tracks in various recording studios. We had some adventures through the music!
Matt is a very talented writer and musician. He's very well humoured, a great laugh and all round good company. The best way to describe him is he's a throughly decent, honest and thoughtful man.

Matt's most endearing quality is his curiosity and ability to look at the world from a different view point, even if we don't agree on everything!
If he hasn't told you yet he's a songwriter and a poet and in a quintessentially British (see English) way he's way too modest about it. He's written a couple of bangers in the last couple of years and if that's not worth letting him buy you a cup of coffee I'm not quite sure what is.
