Some of the things that make me happy:
sitting in the garden watching the young swallows on flying practice,
walking in the countryside in the still of the evening,
the waft of scent as you weed around herbs,
discovering a book that's impossible to put down,
standing in an art exhibition deciding if I like something or not, and why,
the sociability plus hope of finding hidden treasure at a flea market or brocante, researching old and beautiful objects,
sitting with friends over good food laughing and discussing everything under the sun,
watching the coast of France getting closer and closer,
opening the shutters onto an Umbrian morning,
the satisfaction of successfully turning an idea into a print or being able to capture the feel of a place or object as a drawing.
I'm warm, sociable, realistically optimistic, considerate, practical and have a lively mind. Family and friends are important to me, but I miss having someone special in my life, someone to connect with on every level.
