About him
Hi, I do not expect to meet my soul mate here, but I do hope that I might get to know someone who may enjoy sharing the good things in life. I have lived alone for a while now. Whilst working it didn't matter too much as my job involved being with many nice people and included joining them on many enjoyable excursions around the country. But now I have retired to a small Scottish village and, although I enjoy my life and hobbies, I do miss being able to share trips away, the occasional pub lunch or walk in the countryside or on the beach with someone.
I suppose that I hope to meet a friend here to create some smiles with.
Just in case you are beginning to wonder, I am not sad and lonely and I do consider myself to have a good sense of humour..... probably too good sometimes, so please get in touch if you feel you are someone similar.

I hope I may meet someone who has a good sense of humour, someone who likes simple things, walking, talking, listening to music, but also enjoys the odd adventure. I hope she will be happy with herself and her own company but sometimes have a need to call someone when it's a nice day for walking on the beach with an ice cream.
