My name's Jakub (like Jacob and James in English), 26 yo, and from charming Poland. I'm a PhD student in philosophy. I do love literature (writing&reading), history, art, culture, geopolitics, criminology, good music (classical music, jazz, blues, ambient, bossa nova, sung poetry, classic rock, psychedelic rock), good movies (especially the ones directed by Scorsese❤️), sports, languages and much more.
In my free time, I love to read, listen to my favourite music and play with my best four-legged pal named Ares. There are also times when I simply have to write something - it's in words that I express myself most fully, word is my element. In addition, by writing I also cope with an excess of sensitivity to the insensitive world around me.

I'd like the person with whom I'll try to build a friendship, and perhaps in time something more, to look in the same, or at least a similar direction to mine in life as I do. I'd like us to share at least a few common passions, and to have a similar world view - 1st rule: always try to live in such a way that no one ever cries because of you; 2nd rule: there's actually no deep mystery in what hurts people and what doesn't hurt them. You should simply measure the other person by the measure of the heart, not by the measure of financial position, social status, ethnicity and so on; 3rd rule (the most important one): be yourself!
