About her
I'm long term divorced, and have spent a lot of time juggling work with bringing up children and caring for elderly parents. It's time for a new chapter now and I'm looking forward to adventures and hopefully finding someone to share the journey.
I work hard, play hard and put a lot of energy into everything I do - we're only here once after all, so I want to get as much as I can out of life! My job in the NHS is busy, but I greet it with a glass half full, try to improve the service wherever I can and to see the rewards of working in that environment.
I love the outdoors, cycling, running and walking in the Hampshire countryside or just pottering in my garden. I'm very keen on travel and exploring new places - anything from cultural city breaks, wildlife safaris or activity/adventure holidays. I'll do it on my own, as life is short and I don't want to let it go by, but it would be so much more enjoyable to have someone to share experiences with.
I love the arts and regularly go to concerts, theatre and museums. Music is a huge part of my life and I can't really do without a daily dose of some classical music, but I am open minded about other genres and willing to try any live event.

In order to "click" I think it's helpful to have some shared interests and a similar general outlook on life, although a degree of tolerance and ability to celebrate differences is important to building and sustaining a relationship.
