I am a crazy cultured lady with a sense of fun looking for a like minded companion
I like walking and the sound of music but do not wish to climb every mountain, my best effort having been Goat Fell on Arran several years ago! When I returned to a flat surface my legs turned to jelly and I had to be assisted to the nearest pub where I downed a pint in one and felt much better 😊 I like to think I am relatively fit, if fitness can be measured by walking 5k a day, being able to put my jean's on standing up and not holding on and being brave enough to have a cold shower every morning. I recently took up swimming again, 32 lengths three times a week at my local pool
I enjoy most areas of the Arts: opera, ballet, classical music and theatre. I also enjoy independent cinema and love pantomime and musicals.
I am a member of the NTS and Historic Scotland and am happy going on holiday here or abroad. The furthest I have been is The Gambia in January 2020, self catering, travelling on the gelly gellys with the locals (mini buses that would not pass their MOTs here) and shopping at the local markets. Three weeks of heaven. How warm and welcoming the people were to us. People who have very little. It was a very humbling experience as well as a great holiday.
Other things to know about me - I am an average cook but make the most amazing carrot cake and sing in the shower, although I have a terrible voice. I am pescatarian, not vegetarian and I am also Coeliac which means I cannot eat gluten. Eating out can be a bit of a nightmare. I would not expect my partner to follow my diet although my flat is a gluten free zone
