I live alone I am very much an outside person I have created a nature reserve which includes a large pool and an acre of broadleaves woodland visited by muntjac deer I have a large collection of waterfowl cranes swans and geese my main hobbies my bird collection and rambling I usually walk ten miles every Sunday I enjoy hill walking and mountains and have spent many holidays in Wales the Lake District and Scotland I also own two classic cars an Austin Healey Sprite and. Morgan Plus 4 four seater I have been on many classic car events with my late companion also a Sports car enthusiast who died some two years ago now. I have a positive outlook on life and want to make the most of what time remains to me

My ideal match would be someone who would be happy to share some of my interests but I am open to explore new things although I have no interest in sport I enjoy short breaks away mainly in the UK I have been to Ireland on many occasions and enjoy both Northern Ireland and the Republic Dingle is a favourite place of mine the scenery all along the south west coast is spectacular and I have done a lot of walking around that area the same for orthodox Wales I have climbed Snowdon numerous times last year was my last trip up I also enjoy boating the Norfolk Broads is very good for sailing and also bird watching along the east coast all these things are much better done with a companion
