About her
Being retired - I have a need to keep busy and have several hobbies, great interest in antique furniture and architecture. I enjoy company small numbers rather than big affairs, eating out but specifically outdoors, or just coffee (and ice cream)
My life is charmed, I am the luckiest person I know - always very positive and gentle, but at the moment very lonely for a very special companion.
During my working life I have partly owned 2 x 2 person businesses, one working with textiles and one teaching telepathic communication with animals, this is still keeping me ticking over.
My new life in UK started in November 2022 when I arrived alone from South Africa, now I have become settled here I am finding being alone is not entirely good, it can be a convenient state, but not much fun, enjoy my own space and my own company but not all the time. It is a given that the right person will come along - as I say I am always lucky, my wishes are always answered.
One of my wishes is to see more of England as it is my homeland and having been away for so long I have missed a lot. But a loving companion to share this with is going to be the ultimate answer to my wish.
Here is a snippet of my writing: It is called
"A WOLF SPEAKS" it was inspired after a night of listening to the wolves howling across the desert during a trip to Namibia.
At the first sound of the wolf call the forest waits and listens,
Even the moon appears to still for a moment.
She in all her liquid feminine beauty
pauses in her journey across the heavens,
the wind stills her gently flow across the earth, trees suspend their movements.
The velvet night holds her breath for an endless moment
each waiting to hear the call from the soul of the Untold Wisdom of Life.
The messenger of ancient beings calls to the night,
The All Knowing Wisdom of Life
demands attention - and speaks ....

Someone with a sense of humour to laugh with and a positive outlook, preferably with hobbies of his own, be a good listener, very caring, patient and understanding, well dressed, good to look at. Casual drinking, but not excessive. An absolute MUST...... someone to eat ice cream with.....
Sounds a tall order - hopefully there is someone who fits this description who happens upon my profile. But all aspects negotiable......
For a relationship to work - I would say respect is essential for each other and an ability to converse. Activities from my side are rather limited at present, as I am spending so much time alone, but I enjoy being outdoors - sunshine especially - I have a desire to travel within UK as with being away there is much I haven't seen, the Northern Lights are on my bucket list which I would want to view from the North of Scotland - steam trains have a place in my heart and travelling on them. I lived near to the KWVR.
