About her
If my friends/family were to describe me I hope and believe they would say I am kind, loyal, thoughtful, determined, helpful, a hard worker, not bad at badminton and willing to try most sports except things involving going under water!
They would probably also say I have definite tendency to get very lost when driving anywhere new and that I get fairly stressed when trying to cook meals for other people, but that I am a very supportive friend – all of which would be fair enough.
I would also add that I dislike crowded places like pubs or theme parks, am pretty shy and easily get embarrassed and I think I am rubbish at anything artistic which would be basically true!
I have tried a few hobbies across the years – sporty things like badminton and tennis – and recently I’ve taken up learning the flute but it’s slow progress and though I am enthusiastic I’ve got a long way to go with it yet. I’ve joined a small church music group which is a challenge but the practices are fun. I tried ballroom dancing but that was not too successful, maybe I do have two left feet after all!
My family is very important to me naturally – my 3 sons are grown up and independent now but I of course I will always be their mum!
My expectations of others are basically that they respect me for who I am – are kind and thoughtful towards me and give me the benefit of the doubt. That they have a good sense of humour and don’t take themselves too seriously.

I am hoping to meet someone who is on my wavelength, and who enjoys my company and I theirs. I look forward to spending time with someone doing ordinary day to day things including music and sport, but also more exciting activities. Maybe exploring historic and picturesque destinations with someone who I feel relaxed and comfortable with, where we can enjoy travelling together and finding out about the destinations while creating happy memories.
