About him
I am really enjoying life, gainfully employed and in good health, but now ready to pursue a new relationship. I am currently refurbishing a beautiful family home with a large garden in West Sussex. There is a greenhouse and a veg plot that need cultivating. My passions are classical music, (opera, choral singing, chamber, song), cricket, cooking, walking and gardening. Listen to a lot of R3, R4 and politics podcasts.
I am reasonably fit - I completed a 80 mile walking trail through Northumberland last spring and spent my summer hols cycling in Gloucestershire and hill walking in Snowdonia. My attitude to fitness in my 60’s is use it or lose it, and I would value the same attitude in a partner.
I have been working full time as a CFO but I am free to retire from now onwards and am still figuring out how long and in what way I might work in the future. Happy to be distracted!
I am a keen amateur pianist with a baby grand piano and would love to meet a music lover whatever their interests.
I have one grown up son who is a junior doctor in London training in gynaecology.
This is all sounding too highbrow. I am really happy out with mates who share none of my interests having a
couple of pints and a curry. But having been both single and coupled up, I am in no doubt that life is better shared.

I would like to meet someone who actively shares at least some of my interests. A reasonable level of fitness is important as well as curiosity to discover shared points of contact. Physical attraction is important (and a desire for lifelong intimacy) but above all I am looking for a mixture of playfulness, wit and intelligence. Shared values are as important as shared interests. I am going to suit someone who is either local to West Sussex or a Londoner as I am up there very regularly.
