I like to think that I'm essentially optimistic, thoughtful ,forward- looking and young at heart.
Increasingly, I value the peace and contentment of living in the countryside but I'm a Londoner born and raised, and make frequent trips to the theatre, concerts and exhibitions.
A French and Italian speaker, I often travel to Europe and beyond, to eat, drink and soak up the atmosphere. I value my friends highly and now work with young people, who keep me grounded. Radio Four and podcasts are my daily companions and music is important to me. I'm a keen singer with wide-ranging tastes and I love the joyful absurdity of playing the ukulele - shared laughter is essential for a happy life.
