About him
I hold a B Sc in Maths and worked in IT to pay off 3 mortgages. I have been accepted onto an introductory counselling course, starting in September this year. For about a decade, I worked as a private tutor teaching English and A level Maths to adult foreign students in Bournemouth, while sharing my then house with my ex, who was not afraid of hard work. To quote the "Rolling Stones",
"I used to love her, but it's all over now." I do my best to regard the bottle as being half full and have a wide circle of friends and acquaintances in my home town of Wadebridge in N Cornwall. At 72, I live in a sheltered flat, with my fellow middle class neighbours. I own an excessive number of CDs. I claim to be the Chess Champion of Wadebridge now. In Bournemouth, I frequented the Bridge Clubs for about 10 years. I do not smoke or drink alcohol, and am currently struggling to lose some weight. I have a small library of books about counselling, Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy, which I hope to read fully in due course. I am the only male in a local Yoga group.

I don't expect any ideal match, but I think a relationship needs to be nurtured with tolerance and care. I would be content to share home life here in Wadebridge. I lost count of the number of meals my ex cooked for me a long time ago! I drive a Skoda as a workhorse rather than a status symbol, and doubt if I will live long enough to explore all of Cornwall! I have 2 close fellow male Mathematician friends here, but currently no female companion to talk with in the evenings.
