About her
People usually describe me as intelligent, funny and energetic. I’m lucky to still have a successful, challenging, career but make time for friends and hobbies e.g pilates, yoga, choir, dancing, cinema, theatre, gym. I’m pretty fit and active. My main passion is, of course, my family. I have two amazing daughters in their twenties and we are also great friends. I love travelling and have been fortunate enough to travel widely across the world. I like experiencing different cultures and also love eating food of all types (just not as good at making them!!). I also really enjoy walking as it helps me think and is a great way to start the day. What else…..well…my daughters think I have way too much interest in other people’s dogs, making eye contact with them way before I do with their owners.
I was born in Lancashire, went to university in Leeds and have spent the last 27 years in Scotland…still working on getting a Scottish accent but do support Scotland at rugby!
I’m looking for someone who is intelligent and engaged in life…someone who wants to travel and do fun things but also just laze together watching TV or reading books. I like people with decent values …who doesn’t?
