About him
I'm serious about life, but have a good sense of humour. I like people and enjoy uplifting conversation. Life is too short; let us make the most of it. But let us be caring and considerate for other people's needs. I have a likable personality. For the past year or so I have been flat-bound because of some loss of mobility and have had to stop driving. I am positively hoping that early next year my walking will get better, and it is improving bit-by-bit. Looking forward to getting back in a car! I like playing the piano, but presently can't do that because of peripheral neuropathy. My music tastes are eclectic, but especially classical and especially Schubert. I love his music! Every week I meet up with a group of friends to study the Bible. We plan to start looking at John's gospel next month. When I get back into mobility I plan to cycle again and country walking!

I would like a lady who is a commited Christian. My Christian faith is a big and important part of my life. I delight in my relationship with God and Jesus Christ, and I hope that we could engage in that together. I think that it is important ot be open and honest with each other. There must be love in the relationship. This love would involve different types of expression - agape (self-giving), eros (emotional affection) and phileo (friendship love). We would be daily commited to growing in all these types of love, and they would be practiced in the many activities that we would be involved in together - cooking and dining, walking, cinema, concerts, DVD films, and of course listening to some lovely music. I have my tastes, and she will have hers; but it would be great to get to know each other and to broaden and share our interests together....
