About her
I'm retired but still working (teaching part-time) and volunteering because I love being busy and having a purpose. I love mountains and hiking, exploring other cultures and live music of all kinds.
I speak and teach French and German and spend a lot of time speaking German and being in Austria.
At home I enjoy listening to radio, reading and going out for walks, to local gigs, to the theatre, comedy, cinema and eating out. I stay active by walking to most places, swimming and boxing. I thoroughly enjoy talking about current affairs and having a good discussion. It would be lovely to share any of the above with someone and explore things that interest them too.
Amongst the things I've had no reason to like so far in life are golf, fishing and cricket. Football, rugby and skiing are all fine and the jury's out on other sports!
About her ideal match
I'd like to find a man who will hopefully become a good friend by sharing fun and time together. Whatever interests us both is fine by me but it'd be great to walk and talk, go out to listen to music, explore new places.
Our relationship will work best if you don't take yourself too seriously and most importantly can make me laugh. My friends would probably say I have an idiosyncratic outlook on life and I don't want anyone to try and change me. That's me deal-breaker,
