About her
I think I can safely say that most people on this site are looking for that ‘special person’ to share their life with and I am no exception. Whilst ‘Good Food is better shared’, and in my humble opinion, most things in life are, ‘share’ being the operative word, whether it’s love, companionship and varying degrees of commitment. Hair, eye colour and star signs are of little importance to me, although to share mutual pastimes would be beneficial to a new friendship.
I am definitely a glass half full person, although I’m not a great drinker 🤣. Having just moved back to Kent after some years away living and working in Guernsey, Alderney and more recently Suffolk I am looking forward to the next chapter of my life and whatever that brings me. I used to cook for 40 every week in my local church, which was great fun, but sadly Covid changed a lot of that. I would like to think I’m a compassionate person and have always tried to ‘think of others before myself’, which was part of my Brownie promise a very, very long time ago. I feel more comfortable meeting people on a one to one basis, initially. I guess I can be a bit on the shy side , meeting groups of people for the first time is coming out of my comfort zone, especially on my own.
Enjoying the outdoors, particularly dog walking and gardening are an important part of my daily routine. I have been busy redesigning my newly acquired garden, and now updating a rather tired house, but good fun and exciting. I enjoy visiting museums, old properties and their gardens.
I would be pleased to hear from you if we’re reading from the same song sheet. At least let’s ‘dip our toes in’, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
