About her
After many years stuck in the same routine, I'm ready for a new beginning. Working flexibly now and doing a part-time university course alongside, I finally have the time to see if I can make some of my dreams work: I have had rescue dogs and chickens for quite some time and always dreamt of a small smallholding, but now working towards actually getting one in the next couple of years. It would be even better if I could share this with someone who thinks likewise. Hobbies include anything outdoors, especially long-distance walking, which I've done mainly in Scotland and Spain. Enjoy classical music and jazz but also have some 1970s favourites. I like cooking but not baking and a nice chat over a cuppa or a glass of wine. Watch telly so rarely that I shouldn't really need a license, but did enjoy watching LOTR, GOT etc. Can come across as reserved and only open up when I trust someone, but am otherwise an optimistic person - things have always worked out for the better one way or another so far. Also have strong beliefs regarding the environment, conservation and that the world can be made a better place despite all the madness that's happening. And almost forgot to mention: am really good at DIY - it's not really a hobby, but a skill I've developed over the years out of necessity ... anyway, it's useful.
