About him
Widowed 3.5 years ago, I'm an easy-going man who loves walking, cycling, cold-water swimming, cooking, cinema, mountains, sport (I play hockey) and making stained glass. Ready now to start living again, I want someone to do things with and for.
I want someone to go to the shops with, someone to make breakfast for, someone who, when I come up with a crazy plan smiles and says "lets do it" rather than rolling their eyes. I'd love to get a camper van and spend a summer touring round Europe - who shares that dream?

I'm not a big dancer, because I generally feel too self-conscious, but with the right person I really enjoy it - and I don't need to be drunk.
I love to hike and generally spend 4-6 weeks a year on one or two long-distance hikes and/or cycle rides.
I've got a small garden which I love but should spend more time working in. It's not spectacular but I like it. I'd love to garden with someone else - it's such a lovely way to spend time together, working to create something.
