About him
I take issue with the F. Scott Fitzgerald quote, "There are no second acts in American lives." I spent many years in the financial services industry. Fifteen years ago I began immersing myself in the arts. I have written, created and produced shows--they generally involve the the history of NYC, music and personal recollections. I have had a number of articles published and have written a book that will be published very shortly.
I listen to music--mostly classical and jazz--a great part of the day. I attend many music events. I enjoy cooking a great deal and finding little restaurants where the food is good, the service even better and cozy enough to enjoy good conversation. I travel to Europe often, so having the travel bug is a good thing. I think my friends would say that I am fairly outgoing--I do have a bit of an introverted streak--very well spoken and can be relied on to lend a hand or an ear.
I am an inveterate walker--I walk 35 miles/week and I go to the gym every other day.

Music and travel interests. I love cooking so someone who shares that interest is a plus. A good conversationalist is important. I suppose if you look at my response to "Why should people get to know you? you'd get a pretty fair idea of what I'm looking for in a partner. Smokers need not respond.
