About him
I'm an easy going, trustworthy, presentable gentleman. A bit shy to begin with but a good listener.
I enjoy listening to most music, rock pop, light classic, brass bands, musical theatre. Queen, Genesis, Annie Lennox, Jean-Michel Jarre are some of my favourite artists.
I enjoy travelling, mostly in the UK and Europe, plus the odd cruise now and then. I like to get away on day trips, short breaks and longer holidays as often as possible. I enjoy short walks up to 5k mark. I'm no hiker! I enjoy being by the sea.
I like pottering about in my garden and trips out to the theatre and cinema. I enjoy quiz shows, nature programs and horror films / series. I must admit I am a Lord of the rings, Stranger Things, Star Wars and Wheel of Time fan.
I enjoy watching cricket on tv and live. I also like watching athletics and tennis, though its a while since I last played. I really enjoy cooking and dancing in the kitchen though thats probably after mixing cocktails, Tom Collins and Bramble are my favourite.
I do dance but it's the 'dad' type. I've had a few ballroom dance lessons in the past, but am a bit rusty.
I have a lovely son and daughter in law who visit occasionally.

My ideal match would be someone who enjoys walks hand in hand, trips out, quiet times in watching a good film cuddled up on the sofa, chatting over a drink whilst watching the world go by.
Someone with similar interests in music, though I'm open to new genres.
Someone who loves to travel visiting places both home and abroad. Days out walking or visiting national trust properties, short breaks away and perhaps longer trips. Help me complete my bucket list, the ultimate being the Rocky Mountaineer across Canada.
