About him
Easy going, calm, faithful, loving person and not as stuffy as my profile sounds. Slightly childish sometimes. I enjoy walking in the countryside, interesting conversation, classical concerts, visiting NT properties, theatre, cinema, museums, eating out and art galleries I like to keep fit, yoga classes are my favourite, swimming and walking (5-10 miles not long distance). Music has always been part of my life, I am not an accomplished musician, but learning to play the piano for a second time. I am a very occasional drinker, pubs are not my thing except for food. 95% vegetarian, flexitarian. Looking for someone to love, cherish and share my life with, I have adjusted to being single but would prefer to be in a committed long-term relationship. I am romantic at heart.
If you have not gone to sleep yet (😴) and still curious, some background info: I worked as a mathematician and software engineer, 30 years for the UK government and 10 years in private industry. Retired early when Covid hit as it jolted me out of my routine and I thought why not be more adventurous. Separated in 2019 and subsequently divorced, I have two married sons in their early 30s and three delightful young grandchildren. After the family home was sold I bought an old (1880s) terraced house in the centre of Tewkesbury so that I would have some money left over for holidays and travel.

An easy going intelligent person with shared interests, particularly the classical music concerts, a sense of humour and interesting conversation. Reasonably fit in order to enjoy short walks in the countryside. Someone who cares about the environment, enjoys nature, but is happy in town or countryside.
