About her
I am ready for a new start, after some 30+ yrs of caring for family members, while also running a 200 strong herd of Boer Goats on our small holding, a couple of pigs, a few 1000 bees and a dozen hens. I previously had a career that took me from the Royal Thai Embassy to being a PA to various MPs and a Minister or two, not forgetting 2 Banks in the City and a certain J Archer -there's a tale or 2 to tell there...
My 4 children have all grown up and while they visit from time to time they have flown the nest. Who knows what tomorrow may bring, I just want to make the most of today!
I usually spend my time between the beautiful west coast of Scotland and the Surrey Hills, two parts of the world that I love and have so enjoyed getting to know well.
Life is now, there is so much out there still to discover and enjoy, let's see if we can't enjoy it together and have some fun!

I am looking for a friend, and companion, maybe more. Someone of integrity with a good sense of humour. Someone to share life's joys and indeed occasional sorrows with. Someone to go for walks with, enjoy a film, share a meal in or out, or just a coffee and a chat or maybe go on holiday with. Someone who like me loves the countryside and good music, as well as cooking, photography, and making music. l'm also interested in art, antiques, watching wild birds, gardening and increasingly history is catching my attention. To enjoy these together would be so much more fun than on my own.
Most of all I should love to meet someone honest, caring and kind to share whatever life may bring our way and to be there for each other going forward. I am a practising Christian so someone who shares the Christian faith with me too would be great.
I am adventurous and always game to try new things!
