About her
I live in a beautiful part of the world and have a good social life with lots of friends, but am missing having a special man in my life. I stopped teaching languages some years ago to become a tour manager and I am still working part time, escorting just a few tours abroad to Bruges and Germany from around March to October. I have escaped from Colditz many times! My main hobby is music and I have played 2nd fiddle in an orchestra for many years. I know my place! Otherwise I enjoy reading, learning languages (grappling with Dutch at the moment), going to the cinema and theatre and living in the Peak District, but I am more of a stroller than a hiker! I have just started to learn Tai Chi and live in hope of getting the hang of it one day. I am not very good at promoting myself on paper and very bad at taking selfies. A pet hate. Like body art, Brexit and wokeness. I'm much better at getting to know someone face to face, so please contact me for a message or a chat, perhaps followed up by a meeting. Ideally he would be kind, sensitive, tolerant, intelligent, tactile, loving and easy to talk to, with a few imperfections and foibles thrown in to convince me that he's human and interesting! Perfection would be very dull! In the first instance, I am looking for friendship, but would be very happy for it to develop into a more long term relationship. He should have a sense of humour of course, and not take himself too seriously! Looks are relatively unimportant. I have no preconceptions.
