I wasn't expecting to be looking for a soulmate/love/adventure at this point in my life but life takes twists and turns and here I find myself having lost my partner 2 years ago.
I have a wonderful family - 3 amazing children and 3 beautiful grandchildren ...my family are very important to me but they also know that I am an independent lady who likes adventure and doesn't like to have her wings clipped 🤣.
I am outgoing, like to have fun and not take things too seriously. I am kind, courageous, adventurous have a good sense of humour and love to set myself challenges.
I now find myself living by the sea which I feel very blessed about - just me and my old dog Bernie - there is peace - space and everyday a different view. It's wild and windy but I don't mind that.
Previously lived in the Pyrenees ... a wonderful adventure and great memories ... absolutely love France.
I love ski-ing (the mountains feel like home), cycling, walking, sea-swimming and want to do some sea kayaking and sailing. I am very creative, love art and music. I sing in a local chorale choir which I love.
I am a great cook and like nothing better than having family or friends around my table ... I am a feeder and even living on my own find I just can't cook for one! LOL
I am very sociable but at the same time enjoy my own space. I am independent and practical but at the same time miss being with a soul mate and someone I can share stuff with ... chatting about absolutely nothing or having a deeper conversation.
I have a wonderful family and friends but I am missing a special person in my life.
I realise it is more difficult the older you get to find the right person but life is an adventure and filled with many chapters .. some wonderful and others not so. I am not ready to give up yet!
I also realise I am unlikely to find someone special close to home ... I like travelling! LOL

Well wouldn't that be wonderful! LOL .... and incredibly difficult to tick all the boxes ... but at least some of my ideal characteristics would help.
Someone who above everything is kind, considerate, loving, genuine. Someone who likes adventure, travel, good food, who is sociable and ideally a strong and fun loving character.
Someone who loves art, music and theatre would be a bonus and I suppose being on Classic FM site ... that is most probably a given! LOL
If you love skiing and enjoy adventure all the better.
