About her
I'm cheerful, articulate, dynamic and optimistic and love a whole variety of activities. My 'happy place' is being outdoors in the countryside (riding, walking, cycling, gardening, sight-seeing) and I also enjoy city-based and cultural activities (eating out, films, theatre, concerts, visiting historic houses, churches, archaeological sites). I enjoy good conversation and learning new things, and I sing in a choir.
I was brought up in the country, and have travelled and worked abroad and in cities a fair bit, but am now happily settled in rural Yorkshire. I have 2 horses, but I clean up well!
About her ideal match
My ideal partner would be someone who shares at least some of my interests so that we can enjoy them together. I would love to get to know someone from a country background, and he should have some curiosity about the world around him and enjoy visiting new places and having new experiences.
Political views are immaterial on the whole as long as they are thought through, but any form of racism is a deal-breaker.
And about distance: we may look like an ideal match and in another life we could have had a marvellous time together ... but in this life, if you live more than about 70 miles or so from York, we're probably destined not to meet.
