About him
Well... I never thought I'd end up dating again! So... a bit about me. I have a great sense of humour, there's nothing like having a good laugh. Simple things like cuddling up on the settee in front of the fire or the TV, is important to me. Seeing the world is good too, I'd love to travel more. I do like the simple things in life.
I'm a bit of a country boy, and I feel at home most of all when I'm in the countryside. I love country pursuits such as clay pigeon shooting and fishing. I have three dogs, so you'll need to be happy with dog hair.
I have two daughters who are pretty much both adults now. We do as much as we can together and just try to have fun. As they're older now, we've started going to live concerts which is fantastic. We've managed to get tickets to see Taylor Swift next year... that's right, my name is Scott, I'm 49, and yes... I am a Swiftie! 😁
I'm pretty young at heart... bit of a big kid to be honest (hence the Swiftie bit!) People tell me I look way younger than I am... long may that last!
I'm not much of a party animal. Definitely not into nightclubs and hitting the bar hard. A nice homely pub is more my style, somewhere peaceful with a roaring fire in the winter. Going dancing, live shows, and trips to the theatre... that's the sort of thing I enjoy.
Profession... I'm a Senior Engineer working for a blue chip American energy company based on the South coast. I'm very well paid... but still feel like it's "comfortable"... I'm also a fully qualified Clay Shooting Instructor... that'll be more for the retirement years!

Someone who is like me I suppose. Someone who smiles when they see me, who loves cuddles, holding hands whilst strolling along the beach or walking through the woods. Somebody who wants to see the world with me. You must love dogs too! Somebody who doesn't mind if going out for dinner means a nice restaurant, or eating fish and chips by the sea. I'd like to find someone I can have a good giggle with. I find that so sexy! I'm not into partying hard... so extroverts probably should look elsewhere.
