About her
History is one of my main passions. I studied it for my degree and masters. One day I would love to do a PhD in it as well but for now I just love being in historical places and reading books about the past. I work in a stately home/museum which is perfect for me. My favourite eras are the Victorian era, the Eighteenth century and the 1960s but I'm always willing to explore new eras. I mainly enjoy women's history.
I'm also a big fan of reading and writing. I really like murder mysteries and thrillers. I like authors like Ann Cleeves and Elly Griffiths. I also like contemporary literature and the odd historical novel. I quite like the odd fantasy like Harry Potter, something low fantasy anyway. I like to write similar things.
I also really like nature and being in the countryside. There's nothing better than a long walk in the rain followed by being inside in the warm and dry reading a book or watching television.
I also love dogs, non-animal lovers need not apply :)
