I’m fairly ok looking, I look after myself and I haven’t forgotten how to enjoy life, I remain interested in life and people. I like to be spontaneous, love meeting new people and having new experiences. I do go to the gym but not to be a gym bunny, I just like to keep active. I draw & paint (badly) and I read a lot. I like murder mysteries at the minute. I like meeting with friends, shopping, meals out and long walks beside the sea. I’d like a dog but I can’t commit just yet ! I do travel a fair bit and I never get bored of seeing new countries and people.
I’m fairly easy going, an irreverent sense of humour, sometimes I’m shy and sometimes not so much. As I’ve got older I’m more relaxed and pragmatic. I think I’m good company and an open book, I’m not keen on people who are pretentious or trying too hard to be something or someone they’re not. Life is too short for messing around and I would just like to see if I can find someone who is good company, appreciates me and is contented with themselves in their own life but misses some company. Nothing complicated, just it’s difficult to meet people in real life - so I’m giving this a lash.

Someone who is at the same point in life as myself, still enjoying life and would like a partner to enjoy it with. Someone to go for meals, a film, walking and experience life events. Someone to chat to of an evening and share life events from the mundane to important. And someone who likes to laugh, is smart, funny and who I click with quite simply. I don’t have ridiculously high expectations, just someone I trust and who I get on with, can laugh with and who I find attractive (to me).
I’d like you to be fairly active, not a mad sports person but someone who could walk a few km and not pass out. Someone who likes a meal out, who enjoys a drink - but not excessively.
I have good friends and I’m fairly content but I am missing a special someone and I am making an effort to find someone who is perhaps on the same boat.
I’m not interested in a guy who has a lot of issues or needs a nurse maid, that ship has well sailed. I want an equal partner, a realist and a contented guy who’s comfortable in his own skin.
